Draft for legal review. This general starter text is not legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before launch. Replace all placeholders and confirm jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Using BusMate

BusMate is intended for authorised schools, transport operators, drivers, parents, students, and administrators. Users must provide accurate information, follow school policies, and keep access methods secure.

School responsibilities

Schools are responsible for authorised account access, lawful handling of student and family data, accurate route information, and obtaining any notices or permissions required in their jurisdiction.

Service availability

BusMate aims to provide reliable transport information, but connectivity, device availability, GPS accuracy, and third-party services can affect updates. The service is an information aid and does not replace transport safety procedures or emergency communication.

Acceptable use

Users must not access information without permission, disrupt the service, misuse personal data, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use BusMate for unlawful or harmful activity.

Intellectual property

BusMate and its software, branding, and original content remain the property of their respective owner. Customers retain rights to their own data, subject to the final service agreement.

Liability, changes, and contact

Warranty disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, account termination, service changes, and dispute terms require company-specific legal wording. Replace this section with approved terms and verified company contact details.
